Family Intervention

Family intervention is to help the families understand the situation of their loved ones. It is done by including the family members and the resident in therapeutic sessions to help improve their mental issues.

It targets the enhancement of the capacity of both the resident and the family members in solving the past and present problems and managing the illness of a family member.

This is where we provide the information about the disorder or illness of the resident and instruct cognitive-behavioral medication and treatment in and out of the facility. It can also help improve solving the problem and communication skills and to reduce high familial expressed emotions even outside the facility.

Family Intervention also helps the family understand why at times they are in denial of the situation, especially during the first months of experiencing the situation of their loved ones.
